Grateful for the blessings received each day:
“How beautiful it is to do nothing,
and then to rest afterward.” Spanish Proverb “If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.” Doug Larson “To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring– it was peace.” Milan Kundera ![]()

![]() Was reminded at my f2f Al-Anon home group how grateful I am for the gifts of recovery. Gifts that are priceless that no amount of money can buy. The peace, serenity, the tools, the people, etc. that have been made available for me as a result of me reaching out and asking for help. Our topic today was the Fifth Tradition. It is my favorite. It gave me a purpose and a reason for being. I question my existence and why I was chosen and why I was alive. I found the answer. To carry the message to those who still suffer. Someone took the time to be there for me. It is my responsibility to be there for others who come into recovery looking for the help that I also sought. Without you, there is no me.
