May 1: I woke up with the word recidivism, which in essence means backsliding, relapsing, reverting back to old behavior patterns. And, I heard the Lord say: Beware of the work of the enemy to seduce you into old addictions whether it be drugs, alcohol, food, or the need for approval. Set a watch and refuse the temptations that seem so tantalizing. Rise up in the strength of the Spirit and overcome, says the Lord. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

May 2: For those who have endured drastic changes in life and circumstances, these adjustments will become part of your normal routine as you stay connected spiritually to Me, says the Lord. I am bringing you through the disruptions and storms more resilient and wiser than you were. Stay strong. James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

May 3: Be diligent to stay within in the confines of your boundaries as marked by your responsibilities. In other words, do not intrude into the lives of others without their consent. Be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit, says the Lord, and in general, mind your own business. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with you own hands as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside and that you may lack nothing.
