Baskets of Blessings Day 4 by SGLY Ministry

Blessing: Angelic Protection and Deliverance
The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 NKJV

Message:
A few days ago my grandson, age 24, who is a believer that fears the Lord, told me the Lord spoke to him and said: “If you knew what I just protected you from, you would never doubt me ever again.”
My grandson said he was so humbled by that message the Lord gave him, he cried. He was so in awe of the Lord’s protection!

Believers, all we who fear the Lord have angelic protection. Day and night we are physically protected from harm and delivered from evil. We also have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us as our spiritual Helper and we all would be amazed if we were able to see all that the Lord protects us from daily.

“But the LORD your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.” 2 Kings 17:39 NKJV

Let’s pause right now to thank and praise Him for His ever present help and protection to us who fear Him.

Thought for the Day

"God's vision is much more far reaching than ours. We may not even be able to see the next step in front of us at times. No matter where you are in life, what you are going through, or if you are facing good days or bad, always remember you are loved, you are an important part of His plan, and He eventually uses all things for His good."

Today's Prayer

Let me remember, Lord, all that I should be thankful for. Let me be thankful for the blessings you have bestowed upon me as well as the challenges you have placed before me. It is the challenges and my response to them that refine me. It is in the knowing that all I am and all I do is a part of Your plan that makes me thankful for everything I have and will have the honor of experiencing in my life. Amen

The Whisper Of God

Isaiah 51:12 'I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear?'

- The Lord is the One who comes alongside us to comfort and encourage us.
- Let Him comfort and lift you up today.
- Don't let the cares of this world or troublesome people determine your disposition.
- Rest in the eternal arms of the Lord, they are mighty arms that will carry you.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You are the One who comes and comforts me. I will trust in You and I will not be afraid of situations and circumstances that may come my way. Amen.

Exodus 14:13 'Moses answered the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance of the LORD!'

- Do you actually believe that the Lord could fight on your behalf?
- Moses told the people to stand still and watch what the Lord would do.
- It's hard to stand still and watch when the battle is raging.
- Let the Lord fight your battle, fear not, stand firm and see what HE will do.

PRAYER: Lord, You are my strength and my song. You will give me the victory and I will rejoice in the wonderful deliverance that You will bring about in my life. Amen.

- Every morning we can know His strength and His new mercies in our lives.
- We can start each day with hope in our hearts, because of His strength.
- Times of distress will come, but even then, He will save you.
- Rest in Him, let your heart be strengthened and renewed.

PRAYER: Lord, as I contemplate today and the future that lies ahead of me, I choose to draw my strength from You. You will give me the strength I need, and You will bring me through this season in victory. Amen.

Confession

Have mercy on me, Oh Lord, for I am a humble and miserable sinner. [At this point, pause to remember specific sins you have committed during the week and speak or think them.] I renounce all of these sins, heavenly Father, and repent of them, and I promise to make every effort not to repeat them.

Have mercy on me, pardon me for these offenses and any I might have omitted from forgetfulness or ignorance; in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I pray for forgiveness. Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for guiding us on all our ways with power from on high. We thank you that again and again you have led us through the darkness on a path of light. Looking back, we cannot be thankful enough. May our hearts turn to you and be filled with quiet certainty in all we are still awaiting. Remember us and remember the many who lie under heavy bondage. Let the time come when you will bring a great deliverance to those who are in darkness. Then we can find meaning for our lives in all that happens, knowing that you have been faithful in everything. You have done more than we asked, more than we can understand. Amen.

Dear Father God, I am ever so grateful to have access to a reservoir of wisdom, counsel, and guidance in knowing You. I know when I have a problem I can ask You how to solve it, and You always have the perfect answer. Thank you for sending my answers in many different ways, and through many different people. I have been very blessed by the family of God, as they have reached out to help in so many ways. I do appreciate the prayers of Your people. Lord, bless each person back in the form of their need. I thank you for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Bless them all and meet their needs. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
