Today's Inspiring Thought: No More Hunger

Bread symbolizes life. In Bible times, bread was the primary nourishment that sustained life.

In the wilderness, God fed the Israelites with manna from heaven. He taught them only to take a one day supply—daily bread—to teach them to seek and trust him day by day.

Manna, a temporary sustainer of life, pointed to Jesus, the true and eternal bread of life.

Christ feeds and fills our hungry souls just as bread feeds our bodies. Without Jesus we cannot live, but with him he satisfies our every hunger.
