Thought for the Day

"In your days of sorrow, know that you are never alone. You have a friend in God - a true and compassionate friend who knows how you feel. Through the loss of His friend Lazarus and through the death of His Son, He has felt the same sorrow that you do. He knows how you feel because He has shed His tears long before your tears flowed. Let Him wrap His arms around you and comfort you in your times of despair."

Dear God, there are times when I feel so sad and alone. During these times I wonder if anyone can know how I feel. When I feel like this I remember the sadness You faced and the tears You shed and realize You know how I feel. I also know that I am never alone for You are always with me. Amen.
