Really like this. It was the 12 Promises of AA that gave me hope. We had a Promises meeting at 10 p.m. on a Tuesday night. All I wanted was the first one, that promised me a new freedom and a new happiness.

Through the program, I was able to apply spiritual principles to my religious beliefs.
