God wants you to know that ... your prayers are being answered.

Prayers are not like shopping lists with items that can be ticked off. If you remember that a prayer is a conversation with God, you will see God respond every day.

God wants you to know that ... not everything in life can be known.

Stop seeking all the answers, relax, and enjoy the ride into the unknown.

God wants you to know that ... if you feel too busy, you are.

Give yourself permission to be un-busy. Give yourself an hour or a day to simply be. Allow yourself the luxury of a small retreat. Allow your spirit time to be restored. Even God took a day of rest.

God wants you to know that ... the greatest happiness in life is knowing that you are loved for who you are, and sometimes in spite of who you are.

Give this happiness to your family, to your friends, to your neighbors.

God wants you to know that ... have some patience.

Trying to force life to unfold faster than it is meant to is futile. Call forth your patience, and let it move at its own pace.

I have heard so many in meetings say they do not pray for patience and I was disturbed and I didn't know why. Then it came to me...Patience is something I must pray for...After-all, didn't God wait patiently so very long for me to stop running and gunning and running amuk and listen to so many others prayers for me to get here on this road of healing & recovery...I do pray for the gift of patience and I do affirm that God's time is not the same as our earthly time. I do know His timing is perfect in every way and in every situation as are His plans for my life.

Sometimes one of the best things you can do is simply take a nap in the delicious sunshine.

God wants you to know that ... it's okay to say no.

It is better to do a few things well than a bunch of things shoddily. If you are feeling overwhelmed, don't take on anything more. It's okay, and you might be giving someone else a chance to get involved. You don't have to be all things to all people; a few things to a few people will be just fine.

God wants you to know that ... everyone mistakes the limits of their vision for the limits of the world.

Have compassion for others when they cannot see what is obvious to you. Have compassion for yourself when you realize that you can see only a small part of God's vision for the world.

God wants you to know that ... the most common regret is not living a life true to yourself.

Have the courage to live a life true to yourself, not the life others expect of you. You can start small, but do start honoring at least some of your dreams.

Deeply, unconditionally, and more powerfully than you can ever imagine. Take some time today to feel deeply into Divine love for you.

No matter how deep the abyss or how powerful the storms you face, everything can change for the better in a day, a moment or an instant. Hold on and know that your current circumstances will pass.

When you want the world to change, lead by example, and others are sure to follow.

God wants you to know that ... love is the opposite of logic.

Logic is argumentative, aggressive upon the mind, splits the world into right and wrong, us and them. Love is generative, compassionate, embracing all creation. Logic pays attention to what is being said. Love pays attention to how things are said. Logic leads to debate. Love leads to communion. Practice love to be closer to God.

God wants you to know that ... there are no wrongs that God cannot make right.

So you've been hurt or maybe you hurt someone else. God can fix it. God may be nudging you this very moment to ask for forgiveness or be willing to forgive. Trust God, listen and act. There is no wrong that God cannot make right.

God wants you to know that ... the world is an abundant place.

So far, everyday of your life you have had enough to survive. Whether it was water, food or shelter, one way or another, you had enough. Why would tomorrow be any different? God has created an abundant world, live in appreciation of that.

God wants you to know that ... your pilgrimage to God is your pilgrimage to yourself.

It's never too late to start, and it's never too soon to take one more step on your pilgrimage.

God wants you to know that ... wealth does not come from your bank account, wealth comes from the depth of your heart.

What you really want is happiness. You might believe that a fat bank account will get you there, but that's false. Happy people are happy rich or poor, unhappy people are unhappy rich or poor. Money simply masks your real being by giving you activities to occupy your mind. Don't fool yourself, recession or not, your true wealth comes from your heart and is always only there.

God wants you to know that ... it is important to care for the temple of your body.

Even more important is your spirit, which is the light within that temple. A beautiful temple may attract others, but it is the light that will touch hearts.

God wants you to know that ... everything that irritates you about others, is your key to understanding yourself.

What angers you in another person is an unhealed aspect of yourself. If you had already resolved that particular issue, you would not be irritated by its reflection back to you.

God wants you to know that ... you need to maintain a balance between your needs and others' needs.

Yes, it's not an easy balance to keep, but try you must. Give too much, drain yourself, and there is nothing left only bitter space. Give too little, become a cork, and you block the flow of God's love through you. Keep on balancing.

God wants you to know that ... forgiveness is more powerful than revenge.

Vengeance only begets vengeance. It is a destructive cycle. But when you forgive, you inspire change in both yourself and the other. Forgiveness has the power to transform people and create better world for all.

God wants you to know that ... beginnings are only possible where there are endings.

Clear acknowledged endings are as necessary to intelligible life, as pauses between notes to intelligible music. Although endings sometimes feel like the end of you, take them for what they really are, - the end of a stage in your life. Here is to new beginnings!

Even a simple gesture, - a smile, a touch, a kind word, can brighten someone’s day. Let your love flow freely today.
