Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness. - 2 Timothy 2:19

Thought: Like oil and water, Christian living and wickedness do not mix.

Proverbs 27:10 - 10 Never abandon a friend—either yours or your father’s. When disaster strikes, you won’t have to ask your brother for assistance. It’s better to go to a neighbor than to a brother who lives far away.

Matthew 6:14-15 — For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:20-21

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, Philippians 1:9-10

Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Psalm 103:22

Galations 6:4 - 4 Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

2 Corinthians 5:7 — For we live by faith, not by sight.

Can you trust God when he doesn't respond? Or does your faith waver if you don't receive an immediate answer to your prayer? His silence does not mean He's inactive or ignoring you. He's already working on the situation. Whatever He's doing is good, even if you can't perceive the outcome or sense His presence. We are called to live by faith, not by feelings or sight(2 Cor.5:7). The important issue is not what you see or feel, but what God has promised: "The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting" (Psalm 138:8).
