The heavens keep telling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what He has done. ~ Psalm 19:1 CEV

When you look for God's signature and know that is what you are doing you will see it everywhere.

Wherever you look, you see the handwriting of God. His name is everywhere.

BW1 08-23-2014 03:46 AM

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ~ Romans 5: 1, 2

Written by Paul addressing the Roman Christians

"This grace in which we stand." there's a whole world in that one phrase. Believers built a whole new society on grace, a grace that was accessible top all by faith.

I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. Psalm 116:1-2

Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. Isaiah 26:4

Job 11:18 - 18 Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety.

But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, "You are my God!" Psalm 31:14

Psalm 64:1-2 — Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy. Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers.

We may believe that God wants to hear only certain requests from us. While it is true that we should offer praise confession, & respectful petitions, it's also true that God is willing to listen to anything we want to tell him. David, the psalmist, expressed himself honestly, knowing that God would hear his voice. God will always listen to us, and He will fully understand what we say.

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Romans 12:4-5

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2

Psalm 127:3 - 3 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

2 Corinthians 9:8-11 — Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever." Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Joyful are those who listen to me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home! Proverbs 8:34

Hebrews 12:14-15 — Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

BW1 08-26-2014 11:07 AM

The generous prosper and are satisfied; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. ~Proverbs 11:25

** Filling an existing need can be as valuable as anticipating a new one.

** Give the gift of time. IT's a gift more valuable than money can buy.

**The measure of your success is not what is in your wallet but what's in your heart.

**Share your blessings with others.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3

Joyful are those who listen to me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home! Proverbs 8:34

Proverbs 11:17 - 17 Your kindness will reward you, but your cruelty will destroy you.

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12

Proverbs 15:1 — A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
__________________________

Have you ever tried to argue in a whisper? It is equally hard to argue with someone who insists on answering gently. On the other hand, a rising voice and harsh words almost always trigger an angry response. To turn away wrath and seek peace, choose gentle words.

Isaiah 30:20-21 — Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

When you are plagued by a persistent problem — one that goes on and on — view it as a rich opportunity. An ongoing problem is like a tutor who is always by your side. The learning possibilities are limited only by your willingness to be teachable. In faith, thank God for your problem. Ask him to open your eyes and your heart to all that he is accomplishing through this difficulty. Once you have become grateful for a problem, it loses its power to drag you down. On the contrary, your thankful attitude will lift you up into heavenly places with God. From this perspective, your difficulty can be seen as a slight, temporary distress that is producing in you a transcendant glory to never cease (2 Corinthians 4:17).

BW1 08-27-2014 12:32 PM

The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He drove the enemy before you and thrust them out. ~ Deuteronomy 33:27 AMP

Humble yourselves, therefore under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. ~ 1 Peter 5: 6-7

Put the weight of your worry on God. Give him your tomorrows, and trust them to his care and wisdom.

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” John 6:29

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12

Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3

Micah 6:8 - 8 No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Psalm 16:5 — Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. ~ Nehemiah 8:10

Joy and sorrow are often intertwined, inseparable emotional twins. When this happens we can choose which emotion will be dominant; whether joy or sorrow will rule the day and set the agenda. If we had not walked through the valleys of sorrow we would not be able to enjoy the sweetness of joy.

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good it is. ~ Proverbs 15:23

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3

Psalm 18:6 - 6 But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.

BW1 08-30-2014 03:18 AM

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good pleasing and perfect will. ~ Romans 12:2

I believe that goes well with a quote from the book....

"If you are struggling to make some difficult decisions right now that are not specifically addressed in the Bible, don't make a choice based on what's right for someone else. You are the Lord's and He will make sure you do what's right." ~ Lisa Whelchel PRAYERS of a GODLY WOMAN Second Edition A Treasury of inspirational Quotations, Scripture, and Stories for Women
